Wavefella Manufacturing Facility Achieves ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification
The Wavefella production facility in China earns ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management systems and sustainable manufacturing processes.

Wavefella’s primary manufacturing facility has been awarded ISO 14001 certification for environmental management systems, confirming the site’s commitment to sustainable production.
The certification follows an 18-month implementation period during which the facility upgraded waste management systems, reduced water consumption by 25%, and transitioned to energy-efficient production equipment.
“ISO 14001 is not a one-time achievement —It requires continuous improvement,” said the Wavefella operations director. “Our environmental management system now includes quarterly audits, supplier sustainability requirements, and a documented roadmap for further reductions.”
The certification covers the full production cycle from raw material receiving through finished product packaging. Key improvements include solvent recovery systems in the PVC lamination process, solar-assisted curing ovens, and a zero-liquid-discharge wastewater treatment plant.
Wavefella products manufactured at the certified facility include the complete SUP, kayak, RIB, and accessory lines. The certification complements the existing ISO 9001 quality management certification held by the facility.
